NuNee Ambassadors

NuNee Ambassadors have each experienced the power of NuNee. They have amazing stories of inspiration and motivation to share. They are elite, recreational, adolescent, and senior athletes that have reached incredible milestones. They are the reason we strive to provide relief to all those that struggle with chronic knee pain.


Rachel Watters, Professional Obstacle Course Racer

Diagnosis/Symptoms: Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome and Patellar Tendonitis

History: While training for the World’s Toughest Mudder, a 24-hour Obstacle Course Race, Rachel began experiencing knee pain. After the event, “I could not walk without pain and felt intense discomfort when trying to run, bike, or hike.”

Goal: Rachel wanted to resume training and accelerate her rehab.

Outcome: According to Rachel “As soon as I put on NuNee, I felt immediate relief. Not only did I feel relief while training with NuNee, but it significantly reduced my discomfort even after my workout. The NuNee helped me to get through my recovery faster and back into my training.”

Joe Geiger, US ARMY Officer, RESERVES, ROTC including multiple tours in Afghanistan

Diagnosis: Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (Runner’s Knee)

History: While serving in the US Army Joe’s condition went untreated and became debilitating. According to Joe he “began having trouble keeping up” with the physical demands of his military duties. After 12 years in uniform Joe returned to civilian life.

Goal: Joe wanted the ability to return to running alongside his wife, an activity they once enjoyed.

Outcome: After years of not being able to run, NuNee allowed Joe to return to running without knee pain. Joe is once again able to enjoy running alongside his wife.

Zach Briggs, Collegiate High Jumper

Diagnosis/Symptoms: Patellar Tendonitis (Jumpers Knee)

History: Zach is a collegiate high jumper that was unable to jump and run without knee pain. Patellar Tendonitis was jeopardizing his ability to compete as a Freshman athlete at St John Fisher College. He had been through weeks of PT but nothing helped to relieve the pain.

Goal: Zach wanted to be able to jump again without knee pain.

Outcome: Zach credits NuNee for saving his Freshman season. The minute he put NuNee on, he was able to run and jump without knee pain. He is currently competing in his Sophomore season and remains knee pain free.

Frank Columbo, Marathoner and Business Development Mgr

Diagnosis/Symptoms: Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome

History: Frank enjoys running, including half and full distance marathons. Knee pain was impacting Franks ability to run. He was desperate to find a solution that would allow him to continue doing what he loves…running.

Goal: Frank wanted to be able to enjoy running again without the knee pain.

Outcome: Frank credits NuNee with his ability to run again without knee pain. He is currently training for the NYC Half Marathon and has raised over $1000 for Autism along the way.

Bob Embury, Fitness Enthusiast and Musician

Diagnosis/Symptoms: Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome

History: Bob is a musician that wanted to regain his fitness and lose weight. Bob was struggling with knee pain while running.

Goal: Running was helping Bob achieve his weight loss goal. His goal was to be able to run without knee pain on his way to losing weight and regaining his fitness.

Outcome: Bob credits NuNee with his ability to run on his way to losing over 70lbs.  Congratulations Bob! 

Marcia Dahlman, Active Adult and Teacher

Diagnosis/Symptoms: Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome

History: Marcia is an active adult and teacher that enjoys running and cycling to stay fit. As a teacher and grandmother, she also needs to be able to keep up with the little ones. Knee pain was keeping Marcia from running altogether and she was finding it difficult to keep up with the little ones.

Goal: Marcia wanted to be able to be able to run and bike again without knee pain. She also wanted to be able to keep up with the little ones.

Outcome: Marcia credits NuNee with being able to run and bike again without knee pain. She is also enjoying time and able to able to keep up with the little ones.
